What can I buy?

Buying and renting in Dubai: common questions

What fees do I pay when buying a ready property?

The Dubai Land Department transfer fee (4% of the price), the trustee office fee, and the agency fee (2% + VAT). With a mortgage you also pay the down payment, mortgage registration and the bank's fees. Each listing shows these worked out for its price.

Can I get a mortgage on an off-plan resale unit?

Not before handover: banks don't lend on units still under construction, so off-plan resales are cash purchases. You take over the remaining payment plan with the developer; our agent confirms what has been paid.

How much do I need to move into a rental?

The first rent cheque, a refundable security deposit (usually 5% of the yearly rent, 10% if furnished), the agency fee (5% + VAT), Ejari registration and the DEWA deposit. Each rental shows the total.

What is the DLD permit number on each listing?

Every property advertised in Dubai needs a Dubai Land Department advertising permit. We show its number on each listing so you can check it.

How up to date are the listings?

They come straight from Nasama Properties' CRM and update within minutes of a change. Sold and rented properties disappear automatically.
